I had an exquisite lazy morning where I pottered about and chatted to Jenny. It was as though no time had passed and I had just popped round to see her for a coffee. The weather was grey with speckles of rain.

We headed off and the first stop was the phenomenal elephant rocks. Jenny was very informative about the rock formations as her latest job is working at the fossil centre. The next stop was seeing a whale bone fossilised in lime stone.

We headed for the Winnery Cafe where we ordered an excellent platter of food which was magnificently presented and tasted sensational. I also tasted raspberry kola which was similar to the little cola bottle sweets I had as a child.

The weather had turned extremely sunny with splashes of white clouds that hung over the brown, burnt mountains.

We drove up to see tremendous hydro electric dam and saw fish jumping out of the water of Loch laird.
We drove back through kurow and stopped off to look at shops and a small museum.

We went to Duntroon and while we waited to pickup the kids, we looked at the jail, the old blacksmith and the brewery hole.

After collecting the kids, we headed to the pump house and swam in the river.
Finally we headed to Jenny’s home and chilled.

After eating homemade pizza, we had a game of badminton.

Great day out by the look of things.
