What a difference a day makes

I woke up and thankfully the weather had changed, it had a cold tinge in the air but the sky was a brilliant cobalt blue and the sun was slowly warming the burnt mountains.  It was a perfect day to hang out my washing which quickly dried in a couple of hours.

Jenny and I headed out to Moreki boulders.  The car park was full of cars, campervans and a huge coach.  The boulders looked amazing despite the crowds of people.

I decided to treat myself at the gift shop as they sold charms like the panadora bracelet that are sold in the UK.  Each charm I chose represents part of my holiday or places I had visited.  I also bought a charm for Jenny to represent our friendship.

We then headed to Moreki Bay where we had lunch at the Fishwife.  I ate a whole crayfish with chips.  The crayfish was extremely meaty.

We then drove to Oamaru where Jenny collected her bag of shopping and I bought some beers for Tristan.

When we got back to Jenny’s home, we gathered the troops and headed to the creek and then Tristan drove us to the pools.

Later that day, Tristan heated up the bbq and he cooked some venison steaks
