As I was putting on my water shoes, a frog jumped out of my shoe onto my lap then after a couple of bounces jumped down to the floor, I screamed and then started laughing as I realised what it was.

My first trip was with Pj sailing who had messaged me earlier in the week to say that it was a 7.15am pick up at the bus stop outside the ratsun Hotel. As I walked there, the locals looked at me and said good morning or bula with a smile. I arrived at the bus stop with 10 minutes to spare. At 8am I was still waiting, nobody had turned up, I had tried ringing the office but nobody responded. I rang my Airbnb hosts and thankfully they came to the rescue and gave me a lift to the harbour. At the office the lady apologised and sorted the problem of cancelling and said that I would be refunded the money. Thankfully I was able to go on a coral cats tour. The coral cats made sure I was looked after and got me on the boat. Whilst I was waiting, I treated myself to a
Mango smoothie 12 fd =£3.80 and facetimed a few friends.

As I boarded the boat, an American couple had placed their rucksack on beanbag but were not sitting on it at the time, they begrudgingly moved it when I asked them to and for a while it was hard to get any conversations going with people. I ended up sitting at the front of the boat nearly in tears.

After a good 3/4 hr of sailing we arrived at the first snorkeling area. I decided to put a life jacket on and had a go. I also had the support of salla (salla was a member of the crew) who took lots of photos for me. He also helped an old lady who never had done snorkeling. When I pointed out
a baby ray, she panicked and went back to the boat. I saw lots of amazing coloured fish including
Angel fish. As I got out I started chatting to the people on the other side of the boat who were Canadian and they were a lot more friendly.

We sailed onto a very exclusive resort where we had lunch. The chef was asked ‘what fish is that’ to which he retorted ‘dead fish’. The man of the rude American couple sat down at my table and started chatting and his wife came and joined us. Her favourite topic was about the royal family.

After lunch the boat went to a different place and as I swam I saw more schools of fish. They were really close and bigger groups of them. Sella pointed out a sea horse to me.

As we made our way back, the sky changed and the sails went up. Suddenly there was a huge deluge of rain and the skipper wore a mask so he could see. The crew made small animals out of palm leaves. Mine was a bird. We also saw a rainbow as we came into the harbour.
A taxi was organised to drop me off and I mentioned my friend Yu and the taxi driver thinks she knows her!

That looks like a toad!
Sounds like an amazing day even if

it was a rocky start. So jealous you saw a seahorse in its natural environment.
